Overwhelmed by all the videos? The media literacy summit summarised...

I realise the wealth of video captured on the day at the Digital Media Literacy Summit can look a little overwhelming here. With many minutes of interviews and vox pops shared, there is a lot of information to digest.

I've put together a summary of all the video content I was able to capture, along with links to some of the MediaSnackers clips, in a blog post over here.

Whether you were at the event and want a reminder of the key points from the speakers or you couldn't make it and want to tap into some of the ideas and reflections shared on the day - I would recomend making use of the videos captured.

Background information: Making use of video

All you need to be able to watch these videos is a computer with sound (speakers or headphones) and with the Macromedia Flash player installed. If you can't see the videos after following the links in the blog post then contact your IT support.

These videos are all three minutes or less - two minutes on average. Most of these videos can simply be listened to, and so you may prefer to load each video in a new window as you read the blog post and listen to it in the background whilst looking to see if any other clips may interest you.

Many feel that using online video to share information offers a different experience and offers access to different nuances from those in written text. Please do use the comments here or on the blog post linked to above in order to share your thoughts on whether you find these video interviews a useful addition to the summit record.
