Director of creative development agency Plus Equals

Founded the creative development agency Plus Equals in 2005 as a joint venture with the University of the Arts London. We do two things: broker dynamic relationships and new collaborations across cultural disciplines and industries; help artists and designers turn visionary ideas into sustainable enterprises - including David Buckland's Cape Farewell, Jeremy Deller's Bat House Project, Sheron Wray's Texterritory. Previous professional lives include: curator of contemporary art and culture, at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith in the 1980s then through the '90s at the Hayward Gallery, initiating major projects linking visual arts with the worlds of film, fashion and sound; funder and policy maker for London Arts and Arts Council England from 1999-2004 where alongside co-managing structural and cultural change I played leading roles launching major initiatives including the Queen's Golden Jubilee Parade, the Fourth Plinth, and Africa 05.
