
As we all know there's a myriad types of online collaboration - I've focussed on a very specific one in a post at open source film book, The Workbook Project, with Cast it to the Crowd.
It includes some of the observations/lessons which has seen our participative film project, A Swarm of Angels, named 1 on successful online collaborative communities you should know about in Business Week. We've deliberately avoided offline promotion, and traditional PR so far, concentrating on organic online conversation.
I hope you find aspects of the article interesting in applying to your own projects (or if you're already doing this in some way it would be fascinating to learn how, and about your own initiatives).
