I've spent the last 6 years trying to unlock opportunties for young people from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences to break into and progress in the creative industries. Following on from work as Skillset London Development Manager, I worked at Channel 4 with specific responsibility to help reinforce and restructure the broadcaster's commitment (4Talent) to support entry and progression into the industry for new talent. I am now working at The Roundhouse as their Music Pathfinder Manager, developing industry and public partnership projects to help more young people make the leap from consuming to actually creating and performing music.
